On Wednesday July 20th, 17 members from the Meiryukan Noda club took their summer tests at the Noda City Shunpukan Dojo. Participants ranged from 4 years old to early 70's. Overall the exams went well, although I would've liked to see a bit more energy, especially in some of the younger kids. No doubt training in the hot and humid Japanese summer is tough, but the tests are relatively short, and you need to show 100%, persevere, that is the Yoshinkan Spirit.
2 more members from Noda will test this Saturday, then 3 members from the Kazo club on Sunday, then the Meiryukan summer tests will be finished. 55 people tested this time, otsukare sama deshita! Stay tuned, results within the week.
