Only basic techniques last week

Sankajo ni
last Wednesday in Omiya.

It is very easy to lose posture and become twisted during the cutting down / stepping back part of this technique.

Today we broke that movement down in to 3 parts to focus more on maintaining our centerline and connection.

Tenchinage is another seemingly simple technique. However, with the back leg circling to the front, one hand going up, the other down, blending with the pull, not losing our own posture while breaking our partners balance all in just the first movement before the actual throw. This technique is definitely one of the tougher white belt waza.

On Tuesday, due to a schedule change, we had a couple of the senior kids from Kasukabe visit the Noda club.

They paired up with the juniors to go through all 3 of the yellow belt techniques as well as give some advice on kihon dosa. Thanks for the help!
