With only a few days until the Meiryukan Kagami Biraki and a month until the 12th annual Junior Aikido Tournament everyone has really picked up their game and been training extra hard in preparation. The juniors, who joined only 2 or 3 months ago, are already mastering 7th kyu and yellow belt techniques. The seniors been tuning up their kihon and getting a lot smoother with their jiyu-waza. It's going to be a good experience for them to show their stuff this Saturday as sort of rehearsal to the big upcoming junior tournament.
A busy start to 2016, with lots of events to come - 1/16 Kagami Biraki, 2/11 Junior Aikido Tournament and adult seminar, March tests, 4/9 Hanami and Meiryukan 1st year anniversary seminar/party, Urayasu demonstration in May, Canada gasshuku in June... and that's just the first 6 months.
