Weekend training in Meiryukan

On Saturday in Nagareyama we went through some ushiro waza techniques.

ushiro waza ryote mochi ikkajo ichi & ni

ushiro waza ryote mochi aikinage

Riding the weight on your partner`s palms to then use the energy to raise up. From there, with them riding on your arms it is easy to drop them back down.

Sunday afternoon in Sakado we worked on yonkajo.

katate mochi yonkajo osae ni (tachi/suwari)

katate mochi kokyunage (2 variations)

Focused on connecting to the shoulder to control uke`s balance. Also, concentrating power by keeping our hands in our center and aligning feet and hips.
