Training to get better

Less than 3 weeks until the Winter tests. Classes are filling up... where was everyone the months prior?? More important than the time between tests, is the actual mat time. No need to rush, no need to compare to others... look at your keiko stamp card, look at your last test video... have you improved? or have you just not quit? Don`t strive for rank, strive to get better.

    This is why we don't have regularly scheduled exams. Students are tested when deemed ready. All students from day one are told to attend and practice at each class as though you will be tested, because you never know when I might stop class and invite you forward. --Steven M.
