From Wednesday, August the 12th through to Monday the 17th I was in Galati, Romania on invitation from the Romanian Yoshinkan Federation and the Galati City- Kamido dojo. Galati, is located in East Romania, about a 3 hour drive from Bucharest. It 's a port town located on the Danube River (Europe's second longest river - running through 10 nations).
Around 45 people attended the 3 day seminar. Not only students from Mihail sensei's Kamido dojo, but also George Ilie sensei, the head of the Romanian Yoshinkan Federation and 10 of his students from the Bucharest branch, as well as a few other non-Yoshinkan dojo-sei and instructors from around the area.
Adrian Mantu and family graciously hosted me in their beautiful guest house on the outskirts of the city. A guest house with 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, kitchen, dining, living etc (above pic). So yeah, just imagine what their house was like. Thanks again for the hospitality.
Yoshinkan Romania is a recently registered Federation, but yet has a long history training not only the Yoshinkan style but also other traditional styles of aikido. The students have great enthusiasm and spirit and I look forward to seeing them again. Thanks again to all who helped out and/or participated in this seminar.

Thank you Sensei for attending. It was a really thoughtful teaching style from your part. I got a lot of take away value to simmer down and study.
