Kihon

With the lifting of the State of Emergency, most of the Meiryukan clubs are back up and running. For the last few months students from facilities which were closed were traveling here and there to get their training in. It was refreshing having the added energy that comes along with new faces and a full dojo, but it is now also nice to be back to concentrated keiko.
Smaller classes means more eyes and hands on training. At both the Sunday morning Kazo, and Sunday afternoon Sakado clubs we went back to basics.

Almost 30 minutes of breaking down the 6 basic movements, followed by 2 or 3 techniques. The main point was to find the basics within the techniques. Find the meaning of each movement for both shite and uke.
