Today we finally went through all of
kihon dosa renzoku. For the
most part, the kids are starting to remember the sequence. Now just got
to get them to focus more on the details of each movement.
We also practiced katate mochi shihonage ni.
A technique to be careful with on these hard blue mats.
The 2 newest adult members were absent today, so we decided to work on some brown belt techniques - ushiro waza ryote mochi ikkajo osae ichi, ushiro waza ryote mochi sankajo osae ichi.
With almost 100 techniques on the brown belt syllabus, needless
to say, remembering them takes time. One class a week, is not enough. If
you can't make it to the dojo, put some time in and practice them at
home.
