Mid May in Meiryukan

Last Wednesday at the Noda kids class, the juniors worked on tai sabaki as well as a simple knife defense technique. We had some fun with tanto dori shomen tsuki kotegaeshi.

Since April we have been holding a monthly afternoon class for the Meiryukan Noda group in Nagareyama city. This class runs from 3:10pm to 4:10pm, with open training until 5pm.

Yesterday in the Sakado adult class we started off with tanto tandoku dosa ichi - a solo kata from the Kushida sensei days.

After that we practiced elbow locking techniques.
