2 days in a row...

Tuesday and Wednesday at Noda City Shunpukan Dojo. No doubt this dojo looks cool in an aesthetic kind of way, but it is far from cool temperature wise.

Thin wood Japanese style walls, with all the sliding panels open, and 3 fans is not nearly enough to beat the summer heat and humidity. Mid 30`s on the dojo thermometer!

With all the tests finished, we went into some new techniques. The juniors worked on shumatsu dosa ichi, katate mochi shihonage ichi. The senior class did a tonne of ukemi then shomen uchi kotegaeshi ni.

Being on school holidays, meant we had a full dojo. Visitors from the Tuesday Noda class as well as from the Saturday Kasukabe group. Great energy!

A rare pic of adults training in the Shunpukan dojo!

We had a sudden change of location Tuesday night due to a miscommunication with a Judo group who slid in to our usual Junior high location. Luckily the Shunpukan was free and we could train.

Ryote mochi shihonage ichi, ryote mochi kokyunage.
