Koryukai - visitors from the UK

On Saturday, August the 17th we were lucky to have almost 20 visitors from the UK come train with us here in Kasukabe, Saitama. Following the typhoon, so it was even hotter than usual. However, the energy and atmoshpere kept everyone going. Both parties did their absolute best to adapt to differences in language and technique. Awesome Aiki spirit!

Tadashi Narita sensei and his students from the Shoshinkan dojo in Nottingham and Derby, UK are over here for a couple of weeks. The first spent in Tokyo with Takashima sensei at the old Yoshinkan Honbu dojo in Ochiai, now off to Nikko for some relaxing in authentic hot springs, then will be heading to Kyoto for sightseeing and training at Mugenjuku with Payet sensei. 

For most of them it is their first time visiting Japan. Thanks again for making time to come see us. We hope you all can bare the heat and humidity to enjoy the rest of your trip. Take it all in, everything you can. Life is all about experiences.
