Day trip to Ryu Honbu Dojo

Spring break here in Japan so brought the kids to Ryu Honbu dojo for some training.

This class is always well attended, about 10 - 12 elementary school children, including Ando Sensei`s two boys. One of which has now become a junior high student and this was his last class with the juniors.

Friday`s class is taught by Ryu Honbu instructor, Akimoto sensei. Akimoto sensei had his hands full with a range of different levels and ages, but handled them well. Friendly, energetic, funny and informative. Thanks for the class!

At the end another elementary school graduate took his last test in the junior aikido class. Congratulations!
