Early April Meiryukan

Saturday in Noda we went through some shodan and yudan techniques.

Small class in Nagareyama so stuck to basics.

Taikenkai the end of this month - Saturday 4/23 at the Nagareyama Nambu dojo. Kids from 2:15, adults from 3:30

Unfortunately there were a few people who failed their spring tests from the  Saitama club so we went through the main points of some of the test content from the kids 7th kyu.

The Saitama adults practiced side strike techniques.

There are still 2 members who have upcoming brown belt tests so we did a set technique - yokomen uchi shomen iriminage ichi, as well as suwariwaza yokomen uchi sankajo osae ichi, yokomen uchi kokyunage, shinsa geiko

Finally back to the Sakado location after 3 full months. Just in time to see the Sakura from the dojo windows.

It was a full kids, but a small adults class.

The kids worked on suwariwaza ikkajo and jiyuwaza. The adults, iriminage and kotegaeshi.

The Tuesday evening class is always fun. A mix of old and young, beginner and senior, members and visitors.

Yesterday was our first day back after 6 months of renovation on the Noda Shunpukan dojo. The Ken dojo floor looked great! Other than that...

Last week test results, today new belts! Congratulations to all who passed, and to those who didn`t, keep going, almost there!

This year`s kid leaders have been assigned. Post to come!
