Kasukabe suwari waza


Working on suwari waza this morning in Kasukabe. 

Yokomen uchi nikajo osae ichi → The focus was on the stepping forward movements from the front knee. Not being too wide and therefore having to pull up the back knee just before raising the front knee. Maintaining our stability and power from the back foot.


Next was suwari waza shomen tsuki kotegaeshi ichi → Blending with the punch and guiding it off center with a big step out. Then creating space and breaking balance with the next returning step and atemi.
